I have been a lifelong resident of central Ohio enjoying or enduring wildly unpredictable weather, great people and tasty food!
I graduated from Central Ohio School of Massage in September of 1991. Then I received licensure from the Ohio State Medical Board in February of 1992. Shortly thereafter I began the process of growing a small massage therapy practice in Groveport, Ohio.
Since 1991 I have clocked over 27,500 clinical massage therapy hours as well as over 1000 hours of continuing education classes (a complete list is available upon request). My main areas of interest and skill development have been great Swedish techniques, deep tissue, myofascial and trigger point release and stretching. I have found these very useful in helping to achieve the desired goals of my clients. Usually these goals include: decrease pain, increase deep sleep, increase musculoskeletal function, improve work/sports performance, decrease anxiety, and positively influence blood sugar levels.
August 2018 I successfully completed a 2 week training in Michigan on Che Ne Tsang, massage of the vital organs. I found the work very effective in bringing about a sense of total body well being, increasing vibrancy and organ function.
